The manual priming pump is intended to be used in a fuel circuit to bleed the upstream fuel filter or to completely bleed the fuel circuit.
Air trapped in the fuel system can damage the filling pump.
The HFP hand priming pump is used in the fuel circuit to vent the upstream fuel filter or fully drain the entire fuel circuit. The pump unit is kept out of the fuel flow, so it does not increase flow resistance.
The HFP hand priming pump is installed downstream of the fuel filter.
